Three Players No Longer Listed on Oklahoma State Football Roster
As reported by Tulsa World’s Mark Cooper, Oklahoma State’s spring game roster released on Friday did not include three notable players: Running back Raymond Taylor, center Paul Lewis, and safety Tre Roberts.
Taylor finished the 2015 season as the third leading rusher with 297 yards, including a breakout two touchdown performance in Lubbock. Taylor was a walk-on member of the program who was headed into his senior season.
Lewis, who started the season last season at guard, was supplanted by Jesse Robinson as the starter and caught a lot of criticism as the offensive line continued to struggle last season.
And Roberts, who was headed into his redshirt sophomore season, appeared in several games last season but could have been buried on the depth chart with Tre Flowers, Jordan Sterns, Derrick Moncrief, and several other young defensive backs at the same position including my personal favorite: freshman Za’Carrius Green.
