Offensive Line Prospect Mason Joshua Includes Oklahoma State in Top Group

The Cowboys are on the hunt for their second pledge of the 2027 class, and they might’ve taken another step toward that on Wednesday.

Three-star offensive line prospect Mason Joshua included OSU in his Top 8 along with Arizona, Florida State, Pitt, Baylor, Utah, Duke and Arizona State. He also announced that he’ll make his announcement on July 4.

Joshua is the No. 539 player in the 247Sports Composite ranking for the 2027 class, making him the No. 47 offensive tackle in the cycle and the No. 74 player from Texas.

Out of Forney, Texas, Joshua is listed at 6-foot-5, 270 pounds and also excels at throwing the shotput and discus. He’s a two-time district champ in the discus and earned his first district title in shotput this year.

His Forney Jackrabbits went 10-3 in Joshua’s junior season, making it to the third round of the Texas 6A D-II playoffs. According to MaxPreps, the Jackrabbits ran for 240.8 yards a game on 7.9 yards a carry. Here are 5:32 of run-blocking highlights:

He was named to the Navy All-American Bowl.

The Cowboys’ lone pledge at this point in the cycle is Iowa Colony (Texas) quarterback Carson White, who pledged to the Pokes on April 4.
