Ohio Tight End Transfer Tyler Foster Announces Oklahoma State Offer
Foster had 33 receptions for 396 yards and four touchdowns over the past two seasons for the Bobcats.
The Cowboys are in search of a tight end in the transfer portal, and they offered a big-bodied transfer from the MAC on Sunday.
Ohio’s Tyler Foster — listed at 6-foot-7, 249 pounds — announced an Oklahoma State offer. Foster had 33 receptions for 396 yards and four touchdowns over the past two seasons for the Bobcats. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Out of Pickerington, Ohio, Foster had 211 receiving yards on 20 catches this past season as Ohio went 10-3. He had a nine-yard reception in Ohio’s Myrtle Beach Bowl win against Georgia Southern. As a junior last season, Foster had four touchdown catches on 13 season receptions. He also had 185 receiving yards as a junior. He scored the Bobcats’ game-winning touchdown in last season’s Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl.

Foster was a three-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting class, listed as the No. 775 player in the cycle. He chose the Bobcats over offers from Akron, Ball State, Army, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan and others. After redshirting in 2019, Foster played in 14 games across the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
The Cowboys are in search of a tight end because Josiah Johnson will run out of eligibility after the Texas Bowl. Johnson has caught 21 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown this season.
