The Oklahoma State Alma Mater Played on Bagpipes Is Impressive
A big week for band fans. First, somebody re-purposed all the Big 12 band uniforms as football uniforms (see OSU’s here). Then a man named William Thompson put the OSU alma mater to bagpipes and crooned for our pleasure.
It sounded pretty awesome.
As an aside, I presume that like 80 percent of people who play the bagpipes are named William Thompson and have “Irish” or “Scottish” in their Twitter handles.
Well done, William. I would love to hear this over the loudspeakers at BPS.
