Oklahoma State an Early Nine-Point Favorite over Arkansas
The Cowboys and Razorbacks are both coming off big FCS wins.
The Cowboys and Razorbacks will square off on Saturday for the first time in over four decades, but the oddsmakers out West seem confident in the Pokes.
Betting service Circa Sports tabbed Oklahoma State as a nine-point favorites and set the over/under at 61.5 points. Other outlets have the Cowboys in a similar spot with Fan Dual giving the Pokes 8.5 points with the total set at 57.5.

Both teams are fresh off of dominant wins over FCS teams, with the Cowboys dispatching South Dakota State 44-20 while the Hogs took care of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 70-0. But let’s face it, not all FCS opponents are equal.
OSU coach Mike Gundy was asked about the Razorbacks’ Week 1 win and how much he could learn from it. Not much.
“I’m gonna guess we’re not gonna get a lot out of it because they probably went very vanilla really quick, would be my guess,” Gundy said. “Now, I haven’t looked at it. We’ll get something out of it, but it’s not gonna be as much as what they’re gonna get out of this game because we’re more like who we are in this game.”
The Cowboys and Razorbacks will kick off at 11 a.m. Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
