National assistant college football salaries were released this week by USA Today, and Oklahoma State’s nine assistants slid in at No. 24 in the country in terms of aggregate salary.

With Alabama’s coaches leading the way at nearly $6 million per year, the Pokes’ coaches squeezed into the top 25 at $3.64 million. That’s just behind powerhouses like Kentucky, Iowa and Missouri.

Here’s a look at the top 25.

Rank Team Total
1 Alabama $5,995,000
2 LSU $5,915,000
3 Clemson $5,725,000
4 Michigan $5,645,000

6 Auburn $4,875,000

23 UCLA $3,707,500
24 Oklahoma State $3,641,314
25 Louisville $3,618,500

Glenn Spencer is the 46th-highest paid assistant coach in the country, and Mike Yurcich checks in at No. 70 (a steal considering his offense ranks No. 3 nationally in points scored per drive!)

Here is the list of all nine OSU coaches.

National Rank Coach Salary Max Bonus
46 Glenn Spencer $675,000 $183,750
66 Mike Yurcich $600,000 $165,000
179 Josh Henson $400,000 $115,000
179 Joe Bob Clements $400,000 $115,000
223 Kasey Dunn $360,000 $115,000
229 Tim Duffie $356,314 $84,386
273 Dan Hammerschmidt $325,000 $96,250
360 James McEndoo $275,000 $83,750
401 John Wozniak $250,000 $77,500

It’s pretty interesting that Josh Henson is tied for the third-highest paid of the nine. It will also be interesting to see where a 10th assistant slots in when that is made available by the NCAA. Who does OSU hire and for which position? And how much are they paid?

Also of note, Rob Glass is the fifth-highest paid strength coach in the country. Money well spent.

Rank Team Strength Total Pay
1 Iowa Chris Doyle $675,000
2 Ohio State Mickey Marotti $562,440
3 Alabama Scott Cochran $535,000
4 Clemson Joey Batson $450,000
5 Oklahoma State Rob Glass $425,000
5 Texas Yancy McKnight $425,000
7 LSU Tommy Moffitt $410,000
7 UCLA Sal Alosi $410,000
