Oklahoma State Commit Tylan Wallace Featured in ESPN300 Recruiting Rankings
Oklahoma State has verbal commitments from Tylan and Tracin Wallace, twin standouts from Fort Worth, Texas. Tylan, an Under-Armour All American receiver, is rated as a consensus four-star prospect, and is now ranked as the No. 72 overall prospect in the latest ESPN300 recruiting rankings for 2017.
It’s still early in the process for OSU to possibly gain more commitments from ESPN’s top prospects. Several targets remain on the board and uncommitted on the list that holds OSU offers. But it’s already a step forward from where OSU was last season at this time. The Cowboys eventually landed one ESPN300 prospect in tackle Tramonda Moore, but that wasn’t until a signing day decision in February.
Wide receiver is a priority in the 2017 class, with Marcell Ateman, Austin Hays, and Jhajuan Seales all exhausting their eligibility after this season. In Tylan, the Cowboys have a six-foot freak who turned down offers from Notre Dame, Michigan, OU, Oregon, Washington, and others for a chance to play for Mike Gundy in Stillwater. He could be an instant impact player for the Cowboys in 2017.
