Oklahoma State Double-Digit Underdogs in Big 12 Championship Bedlam Game

Published

on

The line for Oklahoma State’s matchup with Oklahoma this weekend has been set at 13.5 points in favor of the home team, according to odds from VegasInsiders.com.

It’s already dropped to 12, and don’t be surprised if that line continues to plummet. Throwing out two blowouts (OSU in 2011, and OU in 2015), the average winning margin has been just five since 2010.

The No. 10 Cowboys will travel to Norman to face the No. 8 Sooners in yet another Bedlam game that will determine who takes home the Big 12 championship hardware.

Last time the Cowboys played in Norman they were 21-point underdogs in 2014. But thanks to late-game heroics from Tyreek Hill, they came out with a dramatic 38-35 overtime win.

Both teams are coming off a bye week, which just might be in the Cowboys’ favor.

After the Cowboys best showing both on the defensive side of the ball and in the ground game, they will need all phases to be solid if they want to come home with their second Big 12 title.

Bob Stoops’ squad will celebrate senior “night” at 11:30 a.m. CST after a convincing prime-time win over No. 19 West Virginia in Morgantown two weeks ago.

Since the Big 12 moved to 10 teams in 2011, OU is 28-6 as a home favorite and Oklahoma State is 5-6 as a road underdog (including that 2014 win).
