Henderson is an athletic, 6-foot-4 tight end who will slide into the scholarship for the 2017 class as a cowboy back. From Lehman High School in Kyle, Texas, Henderson has a 225-pound frame and a listed 4.43 40-yard dash time, per Scout.com estimations.
He has been a productive pass-catcher during his senior year, catching 20 passes for 185 yards and 3 touchdowns. He’s been able to show off his versatility during his senior year as a runner too, toting it 77 times for 482 yards and 7 rushing touchdowns. He was clearly the best athlete on the team, and they took advantage of it by lining him up all over the field, including in wildcat packages where he excelled.
