Oklahoma State is One of Just Five Undefeated College Football Teams Left
Clemson.
Ohio State.
Houston.
Iowa.
Oklahoma State.
That’s the list of undefeated teams after the November 14th slate of games. Ohio State beat Illinois, Houston came back against Memphis, Iowa beat Minnesota (by five … whch means they’ll move to No. 1) and Clemson beat Syracuse. Oh, and OU beat 8-0 Baylor convincingly in Waco on Saturday night which means Oklahoma State sits alone atop the Big 12 standings.
OSU’s 35-31 win over Iowa State was also its 12th straight (which is one off the 1944-1946 school record of 13) and 10th straight this season. The only other team to start a season 10-0 was the 2011 squad.
All of these are real things. None of it is a dream.
Oklahoma State also notched its seventh 10-win season on Saturday. Mike Gundy was either the coach (2015, 2013, 2011 and 2010) or the QB (1988 and 1987) for six of them. The other came in 1984.
The head man himself said it best after the game on Saturday.
Gundy: "Can't say enough about the coaching staff, can't say enough about the team."
