Oklahoma State moves to No. 16 in AP Poll

It’s the seventh straight season a Mike Gundy-coached team has been inside the top 20.

Oklahoma State jumped to No. 16 in the AP Poll on Sunday, one spot behind the other OSU (in Ohio) and one spot ahead of Kansas State.

It’s the seventh straight year OSU has been ranked inside the AP top 20 (it was No. 21 last week).

Here’s a look at the high mark every year since Gundy took over (lower on the chart is better):

The Pokes should have a chance to sneak inside the top 15 by the time the easy portion of the schedule is over with and it heads to TCU in two weeks. Who knows, that might be a matchup of top 10 teams at that point.
