Mike Boynton is busy in Mexico helping the U.S. U18 team. But in no way, shape or form is the man too busy to recruit.

On Sunday afternoon, three-star 2023 combo guard Jamyron Keller announced an OSU offer, via his Twitter account.

“Truly blessed to say that after great conversations with Coach Rencher and Coach Boynton that I have received an offer from Oklahoma State University.”

Who is he?

Keller is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound combo guard hailing from Ellison High School in Killeen, Texas. He’s a strong two-way player that can facilitate and score on all three levels. He’s a self-described Swiss Army knife in a point guard’s body.

“A guy that controls the offense controls the game flow,” Keller said of his playstyle. “Guard the best player, hit open shots, just a guy that can create for others also. I think I can do a little bit of everything.”

Keller also plays for Nike EYBL team Drive Nation with a pair of elite teammates who also hold OSU offers, 2023 five-star forward Ron Holland and 2024 five-star forward Liam McNeeley.

In the Rankings

Keller is a three-star prospect and the No. 25 combo guard in the 2023 class according to 247Sports’ Composite ranking. He’s a top 200 recruit and the 15th-ranked player out of Texas. He’s yet to receive a star rating by Rivals but ESPN is high on him with a Scout grade of 81, tabbing Keller as a four-star prospect, the No. 25 point guard, and the 12th-highest rated Texas prospect.

Others Involved

Keller’s first three offers all came on the same day, August 31 of 2020, from Wyoming, SMU and Sam Houston State. But that offer sheet has steadily grown in number and over the last couple of years with the likes of Wichita State, ORU, Saint Louis and then Kansas State in late May. OSU became lucky No. 13.
