Oklahoma State Offers 2025 In-State Quarterback Shaker Reisig
Reisig’s recruiting is just taking off.
The Cowboys are looking within state borders for their next QB.
Tulsa native Shaker Reisig announced an Oklahoma State offer on Wednesday morning via his X account.
Who is He?
Aside from having an all-time QB name, Reisig is a talented in-state passer whose star appears to just beginning to rise. The 6-foot, 200-pound junior enjoyed a breakout year at Tulsa-Union in 2022.
As a sophomore last season, Reisig shook things up, amassing 2,656 passing yards and 27 touchdowns while throwing only three picks. He completed an impressive 73.4 percent of his passes and also had one receiving score.
Two games into his junior season, Reisig already has five touchdown passes to zero interceptions while completing 80 percent of his pass attempts for 338 yards.
He’s a talented pocket passer, but he also has the ability to beat defenses with his feet, as you’ll see from his highlights below.
Others Involved
Oklahoma State is Reisig’s ninth offer but won’t be his last. His early scholarship list also includes Missouri, Utah, Iowa State, Pittsburgh, Memphis, Illinois, Tulsa and San Jose State, and those just started rolling in this spring.
In the Rankings
Just a high school junior, Reisig is not yet ranked by most services, but 247 Sports currently has him tabbed as a three-star prospect, the No. 42 quarterback in 2025 and the No. 9 prospect out of Oklahoma.
The Cowboys have yet to secure a commitment for the 2025 class, but Reisig is the ninth quarterback OSU has offered, according to 247.
