Oklahoma State landed in Edward Smith’s top group on Monday, and they offered his high school teammate on Tuesday.

Charles Anderson Jr., a massive 6-foot-7 defensive lineman from Dawson High School in Pearland, Texas, announced his Oklahoma State offer this week.

Who Is He?

Listed at 6-7, 240 pounds, Anderson made 38 tackles, six tackles for loss and four sacks as a junior for Dawson in 2022. Also a member of the Dawson basketball team, Anderson averaged 7.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks a game for a team that went 31-6.

In the Rankings

On3 is the only recruiting service that has evaluated Anderson at this point. The outlet lists him as a three-star prospect, the No. 46 defensive lineman in his class and the No. 108 player from Texas in his class.

Others Involved

Despite not being ranked by many recruiting services, Anderson has an offer list flush with Power Five programs. Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Kansas, Northwestern, Cal and Houston have all sent offers Anderson’s way. He has three official visits scheduled in June to Northwestern, Texas Tech and Kansas.
