Oklahoma State Offers California Receiver Logan Saldate
Saldate has a sub-11 100-meter dash.
Kasey Dunn has expanded his recruiting reach westward in recent weeks, and that continued Tuesday.
Logan Saldate, a 2024 receiver out of Salinas, California, announced an Oklahoma State offer. This comes after Dunn sent out a pair of offers to Idaho in late May.
Who Is He?
Listed at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, Saldate is a multisport athlete at Palma High School in Salinas, California. He also participates in track and field, where he recorded a 10.94 100-meter dash and a 21-foot-9-inch long jump this spring. Primarily playing out of the slot as a sophomore, he scored eight touchdowns for a team that went 7-4 and made the 2021 CIF Central Coast Section Playoffs.
Others Involved
Oklahoma State is just the third Division-I program to extend Saldate an offer, joining Cal and Washington. Cal, about a two-hour drive from Salinas, offered April 22 with Washington joining the party May 24.
In the Rankings
Saldate is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports. The recruiting service lists him as the No. 44 wide receiver in the 2024 class and the No. 24 player from California.
