Oklahoma State Offers Top-40 Prospect from Florida
Mike Boynton Jr. and Lamont are already going to work on the recruiting trail.
Fresh off his introductory press conference, Mike Boynton Jr. and newly minted Associate Head Coach Lamont Evans jetted off to Texas, Florida and Michigan (so far) to touch base with several committed recruits and other prospective targets.
While in Orlando, Coach Boynton offered 2018 four-star recruit Nassir Little.
Little is a 6-foot-6, 195 lb. wing playing at Orlando Christian Prep Academy. He is ranked as the 40th best prospect in the country, according to 247sports.
He also holds offers from Florida, Florida State, Miami, Auburn, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Harvard, and more. Scout had this to say about the four-star small forward’s game:
Little is an excellent utility athlete who shows great promise as a two-end player. He’s an excellent transition scorer already, an aggressive offensive rebounder and a defensive menace when applying pressure.
Yeah, I think we can use him in Stillwater. It’s clear that Boynton and Evans aren’t limiting themselves to the Midwest when it comes to finding elite talent. They’ve already made a splash in Florida with this 2017 class and look to keep it rolling with Nassir Little for 2018.
