Oklahoma State Safety Nick Session Reportedly Enters Transfer Portal
Session is the second OSU safety to enter the portal.
A second Cowboy safety has entered the portal.
Nick Session, a 6-foot, 193-pound redshirt junior, put his name into the transfer portal on Tuesday, according to On3. Session joins Lardarius Webb Jr. as OSU safeties in the portal. Session is OSU’s sixth scholarship player to enter the portal since it opened last week.
Session has accounted for eight tackles the past three seasons.
Out of East High School in Salt Lake City (the same high school that housed Jaylen Warren), Session joined the Cowboys as part of their 2020 recruiting class. He picked the Pokes over offers from BYU, Oregon State, Hawaii and others and was listed at the No. 1,842 player in this class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Session redshirted in 2020 after playing in three games where he recorded a tackle. He played in five games in OSU’s Fiesta Bowl-winning 2021 season with his season highlight being an interception against Kansas. He missed the 2022 season with injury. As a redshirt junior in 2023, Session recorded three tackles.
