Oklahoma State Should Be 2nd but Will Probably Be 7th in Tuesday’s CFP Rankings
Oh boy, a new CFP ranking comes out tonight. Where will Oklahoma State be? Well, last week proved that I know nothing about any of this. But I have to think this is how the committee will shake out the top 10.
1. Alabama
2. Alabama’s redshirts (“their best football is ahead of them”)
3. Stanford (“Oregon is good”)
4. Clemson (“because we have to”)
I’m kidding (sort of). Here’s how the top 10 will probably look (maybe).
1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Ohio State
4. Notre Dame
5. Iowa
6. Oklahoma
7. Oklahoma State
8. Florida
9. Baylor
10. Michigan State
Like I said last weekend, I hope this is how it looks. I want OU to be ahead of Oklahoma State for a number of reasons. Here’s my top 12, by the way. Or what I think it should be based simply on resumes (you’ll notice I give more weight to no-loss teams than the committee).
1. Clemson
2. Oklahoma State
3. Iowa
4. Ohio State
5. Alabama
6. Oklahoma
7. Notre Dame
8. Michigan State
9. Florida
10. Baylor
11. Houston
12. North Carolina
I wanted to throw UNC in there because I feel like nobody talks about them? Why? What if they beat Clemson? What if they end up 12-1 and the ACC champs? Still a lot of football left but Tuesday night, as always, should be great.
