TRANSFER PORTAL TRACKER

A big-bodied Cowboy pass catcher is the latest Poke to enter the portal.

Oklahoma State wide receiver Blaine Green entered the transfer portal on Friday, according to 247Sports’ McClain Baxley. Listed at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, Green caught 13 passes for 102 yards this season.

“I just want to say than you to Oklahoma State University for the opportunity to play for this school and be a part of this wonderful community,” Green wrote in an X post. “I am very appreciative of the many memories I have created here with my teammates and friends, as I annu0nce I will be entering the NCAA transfer portal.”

Green played quite a bit as a true freshman on OSU’s Fiesta Bowl-winning 2021 squad. That season, he caught 21 passes for 314 yards and a touchdown. He made a move to tight end toward the end of that 2021 season and was set to play tight end in 2022 before a wrist injury in fall camp kept him out for the entire season.

Moving back to receiver, he dealt with injuries some again in 2023. His best game of the year came in OSU’s loss to Iowa State, where Green caught six passes for 58 yards.

Green came to Stillwater as a four-star recruit out of Allen High School (TX). He also had offers to Auburn, Baylor, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Washington and others. He came to Stillwater alongside his twin brother, Bryson, who transferred to Wisconsin last season. Bryson caught 25 passes for 375 yards and a touchdown in his first season with the Badgers.

Green is the fourth Cowboy to enter the portal since it open, joining Lardarius Webb Jr., Ricky Lolohea (who left the team in fall camp) and Gunnar Gundy.
