The Cowboys will be a bit thinner with a few significant pieces missing that were listed on the spring roster. Most notably, the Pokes will be without redshirt junior running back Deondre Jackson. The former Texas A&M transfer rushed it 32 times for 134 yards for OSU last year. He was expected to vie for reps in the Cowboys’ backfield this fall.

Also missing are Rylan McQuarters (son of OSU standout R.W. McQuarters) and defensive end Dillon Metcalf, who spent the last two seasons in Stillwater but did not record any stats.
