Basketball talent is flowing from the state of Oklahoma right now.

Over the coming months a handful of basketball players from the state will commit to Division-I programs. Among that crop, a solid group played in Memphis this past weekend on Nike’s EYBL AAU circuit.

Here is an overview on how some Oklahomans are performing.

Jeremiah Johnson

Height: 6-3
Weight: 170
From: Norman
OSU Offer? Yes
National Rank: 130

Jeremiah Johnson is reportedly planning to take an Oklahoma State visit this summer. After spending time at Putnam City North and Norman North, Johnson played at Wasatch Academy in Utah this past season after reclassifying from 2023 back to 2024.

Johnson is playing with LivOn, where he is averaging 13.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists a game while shooting 36% from 3 in EYBL games. Johnson had a 20-point outing in April in just 21 minutes on the floor.

Johnson was once a Top 20 player in the 2023 class, and he looks to be on the climb again. He was the victim of a shooting in 2021, an obvious setback that he has recovered from extraordinarily. Oklahoma State was his first offer all the way back in the summer of 2020.

Dayton Forsythe

Height: 6-3
Weight: 180
From: Dale
OSU Offer? Yes
National Rank: 148

Dayton Forsythe showed his potential this weekend with a 26-point performance against Vegas Elite. That game saw Forsythe go 4-for-7 from 3 and also record five rebounds.

Thus far this year with Team Griffin (the same program that Brandon Garrison came from), Forsythe has averaged 11.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists a game while shooting 39% from 3.

Oklahoma State was Forsythe’s first high-major offer, coming back in December. He has led Dale to back-to-back state championships and led the 2A squad to a Tournament of Champions win this past season.

T.O. Barrett

Height: 6-4
Weight: 180
From: Edmond
OSU Offer? Yes
National Rank: 141

After winning back-to-back state championships with Edmond North, T.O. Barrett is set to make the move to Link Academy in Missouri for his senior season.

Playing with MoKan on the AAU circuit, Barrett has averaged 9.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists a game in EYBL play. He had an 18-point performance against The Skill Factory this past weekend where he also pulled down seven rebounds.

Oklahoma State offered Barrett last June, becoming just his third Division-I offer behind Montana and Tulsa.

Dylan Warlick

Height: 6-5
Weight: 180
From: Edmond
OSU Offer? No
National Rank: N/A

Warlick was also a part of those Edmond North state championship teams, and he has been scoring for fun with Team Griffin this AAU season.

In EYBL play, Warlick has averaged 15.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists a game while shooting 33% from 3. He had a 27-point performance against All Ohio this weekend where he was 10-for-21 from the field and 7-for-8 from the foul line.

Warlick doesn’t yet hold a high-major offer, but he does have offers to George Mason, Jacksonville State, Cal Poly, South Alabama and others.

David Castillo

Height: 6-1
Weight: 165
From: Bartlesville
OSU Offer? Yes
National Rank: 30
KANSAS STATE COMMIT

Castillo committed to Kansas State in April, and he didn’t play with Team Griffin this past weekend in Memphis. But in eight games with Team Griffin this AAU season, Castillo averaged 11.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists a game while shooting a ridiculous 47% from 3.
