OSU 9-4 in Homecoming Games Under Gundy, Victorious in Past Three

A not great pattern is emerging in OSU HoCo games.

In a year of  Oklahoma State’s streaks getting broken, the Cowboys have a chance to halt that movement with their three game homecoming win streak.

The Cowboys are 53-36-7 all time in homecoming bouts. The first homecoming game was in 1921 when OSU defeated Washburn 13-0. Another interesting note is that there wasn’t a homecoming game in 1943.

OSU’s longest homecoming win streak is 10 straight from 1972-81, while the longest losing streak is only four games. That happened from 1998-2001.

There has been an interesting trend across the past 11 season — three straight wins, a loss, three straight wins, a loss, and now OSU has won the past three games.

Under Mike Gundy, the Cowboys are 9-4 in homecoming games. OSU has played Texas only once in a homecoming game, losing 47-28 in 2005, Gundy’s first season.

Here is a list of OSU’s homecoming games under Gundy:
