It looks like the Cowboys will spend just one week of the 2020 season unranked, at least according to the coaches.

A week after a tough TCU loss bounced the Cowboys out of the top 25 in the AP poll and Amway Coaches poll, the Pokes climbed back in at No. 22 in the coaches poll thanks to their 42-3 beatdown of the Bears. They remained just outside the AP top 25, the first team out.

It should be noted though that the College Football Playoff committee still had OSU at No. 22 last week, while the other two polls left the Cowboys out.

Around the League and the State

The Big 12 has four teams in the coaches top 25, Iowa State at 8, Oklahoma at 10, the Cowboys at 22 and Texas at 24. Tulsa, whose only loss came to the Cowboys in the season opener, is No. 20.

Here’s a look at both Week 15 polls.
