OSU Baseball: Cowboys’ Home-Opener Canceled, Sunday’s Doubleheader Still On
Opening Day at O’Brate got pushed back again.
Baseball in O’Brate Stadium has been pushed back another day.
After Oklahoma State altered its home-opening series earlier in the week, Saturday’s game between the Cowboys and Wright State has been canceled because of “a significant amount of ice on the field.” With that said, the plan is to still play a doubleheader Sunday with the first game scheduled for 1 p.m.
The Cowboys are ranked third nationally after beating Vanderbilt in two games of the teams’ series last weekend. The Cowboys fell to Sam Houston in extra innings Tuesday night at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers.
Wright State is 0-3 this year. The Raiders were swept by No. 11 Georgia State last weekend.
Game 1 of the doubleheader will be available on ESPN+. The second game can be streamed at okstate.com/watch/.
