OSU Basketball: Cowboys Host Three Prospects Tuesday on Unofficial Visits
Recruiting never sleeps for Mike Boynton and his staff.
On Tuesday, three big-time visitors were on campus for unofficial visits, a source told Pistols Firing. The most notable: in-state star Trey Alexander, a 2021 shooting guard from Heritage Hall whom OSU offered a scholarship to last fall.
He was joined by 2020 big man Chris Moore and 2020 point guard Davonte Davis.
Let’s learn a little more about those that were on campus.
Trey Alexander (2021): 6-3, 160-pound wing from Heritage Hall in OKC who was offered by Boynton and his staff in the fall. Alexander is a 2021 standout who is likely to be a national recruit, but OSU is the only school to offer a scholarship as of now.
Chris Moore (2020): 6-6, 220-pound power forward from West Memphis. Moore has a half-dozen offers; Oklahoma State is among them after extending a scholarship his way two months ago.
Davonte Davis (2020): Oklahoma State offered Davis, a 6-2, 150-pound point guard prospect from Arkansas, two months ago. Arkansas, SMU and Auburn have also extended him a scholarship.
Tuesday’s visitors were the most notable of what is shaping up to be a big week for the Pokes. I’m told there will likely be more big-name visitors later into the week in addition to Tuesday, as the staff looks to take advantage of the summer months and down time.
