OSU Football: Cowboys Offer 6-foot-9 Tight End Dakota Terrell From Pocola
OSU continues to look close for its 2025 class.
There must be something in the water in Pocola.
In-state Class of 2025 prospect Dakotah Terrell announced via X on Thursday that he received an offer from Oklahoma State. Terrell is listed as a 6-foot-9, 215-pound tight end from Pocola High School.

It’s still early in the process of evaluating 2025 prospects so none of the major recruiting outlets have given Terrell any stars yet. But that will surely change based on the attention he’s already getting. On3 lists offers from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Michigan and UNLV for Terrell. On3 also has Terrell listed as a wide receiver, while 247Sports has him as a tight end. It looks like he would play tight end for the Cowboys, though, considering he said his conversation was with OSU tight ends and fullbacks coach Jason McEndoo.
Terrell caught 29 passes for 549 yards and seven touchdowns last season as a junior, according to MaxPreps. He also plays basketball for a Pocola team that went 27-2 this past season.
The Cowboys haven’t ventured far yet while putting together their 2025 class. Antoni Ogumoro, an offensive lineman from Elgin, announced earlier this week that OSU made his top group. OSU also already has a commitment from in-state product Matrail Lopez, an athlete from Idabel.
