Utah is predicted to win the Big 12 in its first season in the conference from the Pac-12. The Utes will visit OSU for the Cowboys’ Big 12 opener on Sept. 21 in Boone Pickens Stadium. The Cowboys will then travel to No. 2 Kansas State the next week.

Last year, OSU was at No. 7 in this poll before making the Big 12 championship game at AT&T Stadium. That poll was correct, though, about outgoing Texas winning the league. K-State was also picked second again in last year’s poll.

In the first year with 16 members, Big 12 Football Media Days is scheduled for July 9-10 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It will be the first conference event for newcomers Utah, Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado. The event will be broadcasted on ESPNU and ESPN+.
