OSU Football’s Four-Year APR Score Tops Big 12, Four OSU Programs Perfect on Year
OSU’s men’s golf team scored 1,000 for the seventh straight year.
Cowboy football is atop the Big 12 academically.
The NCAA released its academic progress rates (APR) for the 2018-19 academic year Tuesday, and the Oklahoma State football program’s four-year score of 979 (out of a possible 1,000) is tied with Iowa State for the Big 12’s best. That 979 ranks 21st among Power Five football programs, and it is the second-best four-year score OSU’s football program has ever posted.

Looking past football, four of OSU’s athletic programs posted perfect scores for the 2018-19 school year: men’s golf, women’s golf, women’s tennis and women’s basketball.
OSU’s men’s golf program has earned a perfect score for the 14th time in the APR’s 15-year history. It’s the program’s seventh straight 1,000.
It’s the women’s golf team’s fourth straight 1,000. The women’s tennis team’s perfect score is its fifth in the past seven years, and it’s the women’s basketball program’s second perfect score.
Programs must have a four-year APR of at least 930 to compete in postseason championships, and all of OSU’s programs surpassed that mark. Fifteen Division-I programs from around the country face post season bans after their scores came in lower than the required 930.
Here are all of OSU’s programs’ scores from 2018-19 and their four-year rates.
