In a sign that the OSU hoops staff seems to have hit on two ascending recruits in the 2023 class, both of its commitments in the cycle, center prospect Brandon Garrison and guard prospect Jamyron Keller, moved up on Monday in the latest recruiting rankings update from 247Sports.

Garrison moved from No. 59 to No. 50 in the 247Sports rankings after the update and to No. 47 at 247Sports’ Composite list. He had a strong summer that included a run with Team USA, coached by Mike Boynton. The refresh helps Garrison, a Del City, Oklahoma, product, retain his four-star ranking nationally.

Keller had the biggest rise of the duo, though, moving from unranked all the way to No. 141 in the 247 rankings. The Composite system has him just outside the top-150 at No. 153. The rating makes Keller a three-star recruit.

OSU doesn’t appear to be done recruiting in the 2023 cycle, either. Justin McBride, an AAU teammate of Keller, included the Pokes in his top list this past weekend. Big man Aaron Bradshaw and combo forward Brandon Williams, a five-star and four-star, respectively, also appear to still be considering the Pokes as the summer months draw to a close. With a class already ranked inside the top 15, Mike Boynton and his staff after this latest rankings update have a real shot at closing with a potential top 10 class.
