OSU Offers 2022 Four-Star Quarterback Conner Weigman
Weigman is a top 150 player in the 2022 class.
It’s unlikely the Cowboys will take a quarterback in the 2021 class with Gunnar Gundy set to join the program next season, but that makes OSU’s 2022 QB all the more important.
Conner Weigman, out of Cypress, Texas, announced an Oklahoma State offer Tuesday.
Who Is He?
Weigman is listed at 6-foot-1, 205 pounds and plays for Bridgeland High School.
Weigman is a dual-threat QB. As a sophomore in 2019, he threw for 2,501 yards and 27 touchdowns, while also running for 729 yards and another seven scores.
He has led Bridgeland to a 6-0 record to start his junior season, where the Bears are averaging 40.7 points a game.
In the Rankings
Weigman is a four-star prospect, according to 247Sports and Rivals.
The 247Sports composite system lists him as the No. 130 player in all of the 2022 class. 247Sports itself lists him as the No. 78 player in the class.
He is the No. 12 QB in the class in the composite system.
Others Involved
Weigman has a long lists of suitors, including recent offers from Oklahoma, Missouri and Colorado.
He also boasts offers from Arkansas, Michigan State, Baylor, Ole Miss and others.
2022 QBs
This is the first 2022 quarterback OSU has offered since it offered Georgia QB Sam Horn in May.
Weigman is the sixth 2022 quarterback OSU has offered. Lone Star-Frisco gunslinger Garret Rangel has been the favorite among that group to end up in Stillwater.
