The Oklahoma State coaching staff this week extended a pair of scholarship offers to two budding talents along the offensive line in the 2024 cycle, with four-star Michael Uini and (currently unranked but not for long) Makai Saina both garnering opportunities to play out their college careers in Stillwater.

Here’s a closer look at the new targets for OSU in the 2024 class.

Michael Uini | 6-7, 290 | ????

If you’re making a list of top recruits most likely to pancake their opponent on defense, Uini probably would rank top two on the list (and he would not be No. 2). He’s huge. 6-7, 290! That size has already garnered him offers from Alabama, LSU, and Texas A&M. OSU is one of several Big 12 schools involved including Baylor, Texas Tech and Texas. 247Sports’ Composite rankings have him as the No. 68 player in the 2024 class and the No. 4 player at his position. All 16 of his offers have come in the year 2022 so OSU is somewhat early in the mix here, which is going to be important because the waiting list just to try and attract his attention will be a long one.

Makai Saina | 6-4, 275 | ❌?

Based off the early offer sheet here, the ❌? thing may last all of, say, two weeks? Saina doesn’t have the same frame or size of Uini but he’s still got a big body at 6-4 and pushing 300 pounds — precisely the archetype that typically plays as an interior offensive line at OSU. The Arlington, Texas product has received offers from Baylor, Houston, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Penn State, TCU, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
