OSU Partnering With StadiumDrop to bring In-Seat Delivery Inside Stadiums
The partnership will help with seat delivery, contactless payment and pick up options.
Oklahoma State announced Thursday in a statement it is partnering with StadiumDrop starting in 2020 “to bring in-seat delivery, contactless payment and pick up options to Boone Pickens Stadium, Gallagher-Iba Arena and O’Brate Stadium.”
StadiumDrop gives fans flexibility to order food and drinks from concession stands and have it delivered right to their seat, a neat fan perk that’s especially useful for those attending games amidst a pandemic.
“There is a lot to like about StadiumDrop, but what stands out is that it creates additional distancing opportunities with in-seat delivery service and the ability to create a rapid pick-up option at concession stands. In both cases, our fans are the ones who benefit,” OSU deputy athletic director Chad Weiberg said.
The ordering process can be completed through the services app.
OSU also announced that other improvements to the fan experience include DropZone areas for limited physical contact pick up and express lanes, with the idea being to minimize time spent in lines and exposure to others in close proximity.
