OSU Reports Zero Active COVID-19 Cases Across All Sports
Great news on the COVID-19 front.
Oklahoma State on Monday reported that it has zero active cases of COVID-19 across all sports, marking the second consecutive virus-free week and keeping the cumulative cases steady at 128 since it began reporting on June 1.
The last time OSU had active cases among the football program was on Oct. 12, when it was dealing with just three total cases. Upon that report, athletics was dealing with just five total active cases across all sports.
It’s positive news for Oklahoma State all the way around. The fear is that as the weather gets colder, outdoor activities and social distancing may become less feasible, leading to more spread of the virus. But two consecutive weeks of zero cases perhaps debunks that notion for now, and that’s huge as OSU looks to keep its perfect season intact.
