OSU Revives White-Orange-Orange Uniform Combo for Missouri State
The Cowboys will don the Patriot Pete helmets for the second-straight year in Week 1, this time with the orange pants to go along with the orange tops.
The white/orange/orange combination is not something we’ve seen in recent history. In fact, this is one of the few combos yet to be seen in either of the last two iterations of OSU uniforms. It was back all the way back in October of 2010 when the Cowboys lost to Nebraska at home, back when Nebraska was a conference game.
This off-the-wall combo obviously eluded our experts who picked W/O/W across the board and no one picked the full-sized Pete to appear in back-to-back season openers.
Pete’s back with the orange facemask which works perfectly with the orange threads and that black and orange stripe look is a great welcome back to football season.
