OSU Wearing Cursive Cowboys, Orange-White, Orange for Bedlam
OSU is 3-1 in O-W-O.
Oklahoma State is in Norman for Bedlam and the Cowboys will be wearing a new classic.
The Cowboys will wear an orange-white-orange uniform combination with a Cursive Cowboys helmet. A classic look for a classic rivalry. Should look nice against the Sooners’ own classic kit.
The Cowboys are 3-1 wearing orange-white-orange all-ime, debuting it in the 2012 season with a loss to Kanas State. The Cowboys beat UTSA in 2013 in those colors and then didn’t wear it again until recently. OSU beat Baylor in O-W-O in 2020 and West Virginia last year, with the same striped orange Cursive Cowboy lid.
Speaking of a new classic, OSU has now worn some form of the Cursive Cowboys helmet four times this year. That’s more than the brand (three), full-size Pete (two) and Phantom Pete (one). OSU wore Cursive three times last season and twice when it debuted in 2020. Looks like that might be the new flagship helmet and I’m not mad about it.
