OSU Wrestling: 2019 Commit Daniel Kerkvliet Jr. Going for Back to Back World Titles Starting Monday
Oklahoma State commit and soon to be high school senior Daniel Kerkvliet is going for his second Cadet World Title this coming week.
If you’re wanting to follow along, Trackwrestling will be streaming the entire tournament, but it does require a subscription. You can also expect United World Wrestling to provide some form of stream here. They typically don’t stream every mat and round, though, which Track likely will. Most of the time you’ll at least be able to get the finals and possibly a few other matches on the site or on their YouTube page.
Kerkvliet is wrestling at 110 KG, and his weight will be wrestled on Monday July 2 starting at 10:30 a.m. with the finals on Tuesday July 3 at 6 p.m. USA wrestling provides an overview on the tournament here. Coach Smith will be along for the trip and assisting with the women’s team.
This isn’t the only World Title Kerkvliet is going for this year. He has also made the Junior World Team. He’ll wrestle in that tournament in September in Slovakia.
Here’s Kerkvliet winning his first Cadet World Title.
