The new field turf at Boone Pickens Stadium is almost complete and yep, it’s great.

Here are a few looks at OSU’s new field which has been a long time coming. The cost of the turf is $500,000, according to the Tulsa World.
Some folks on Twitter told me they’re bored with the design and don’t like the font — both legitimate complaints. As for me? I’m just happy we don’t have to look at the worn-away orange and white end zones anymore that looked like somebody put a blurred filter over the field at Neyland and transported it west.
Also, Tyreek is going to be so fast on this stuff. So, so ridiculously fast.
