PFB Picks: Laying Out Our Predictions for OSU’s Week 3 Matchup with Arkansas-Pine Bluff
How many points will it be?

Oklahoma State finishes off its nonconference slate with a visit from FCS opponent Arkansas-Pine Bluff. A comfortable, clean win sends the Cowboys into their off week with confidence to prepare for their Big 12 opener. Anything less sends them into the bye with more questions.
The Pistols Firing staff (minus Kyle Boone, who is traveling) convened ahead of the Pokes’ noncon finale to lay out our predictions for Saturday night’s game. Here’s how we see things unfolding.
Marshall Scott
Score: OSU 59 | UAPB 7
Thoughts: Oklahoma State is clearly the better team with better players. This game will moreso be about when Braylin Presley gets in and how many touches Ollie Gordon gets. What is important for OSU on Saturday is that the Pokes stay healthy and polish things ahead of their meeting with Baylor.
Kyle Cox
Score: OSU 45 | UAPB 17
Thoughts: Yes, the Golden Lions have averaged 62 points per game in their first two games, but this is a different level of competition. In fact, the 17 might be generous if the Cowboys can continue to gel on defense. A result much closer than this one will give the Cowboys’ coaching staff extra (and unwanted) whiteboard fodder for the bye week with a trip to Waco waiting on the other side.
