PFB Schedule and Update: NCAA Tournament on Deck for Cowgirls, Hoops Starts Friday
Bedlam Week is over, and it’s on to the next one for Oklahoma State athletics. Football travels to Ames (?), soccer gets going on the NCAA Tournament and basketball starts the season on Friday in GIA against Pepperdine.
Here’s a look at the schedule.
Oklahoma State Games
• Friday, November 10: Women’s basketball vs. Incarnate Word — 11 a.m.
• Friday, November 10: Equestrian vs. TCU — 1 p.m.
• Friday, November 10: Men’s basketball vs. Pepperdine — 7:30 p.m. on FCS
• Friday, November 10: Soccer at NCAA Tournament — TBD
• Friday, November 10: M/W Cross Country at Midwest Regionals (Ames) — All day
• Saturday, November 11: Wrestling vs. UNC — 9 a.m.
• Saturday, November 11: Football vs. Iowa State — 11 a.m. on ABC/ESPN2
• Saturday, November 11: Soccer at NCAA Tournament — TBD
• Sunday, November 12: Soccer at NCAA Tournament — TBD
Oklahoma State Records
• Football: 7-2 (T3 in B12)
• Women’s soccer: 16-3-2 (Won B12)
• Men’s Golf: 2 Wins
• Women’s Golf: 1 Win
• Equestrian: 1-2 (1st in B12)
Oklahoma State Media Appearances
Mike Gundy will have his weekly press conference on Monday morning, and we will have notes and the video of it up shortly thereafter. Players and coordinators will be available after practice on Tuesday afternoon.
There will be basketball media availability on Monday as well with Mike Boynton and players. And finally, on Monday afternoon, the women’s soccer team will find out its draw in the NCAA Tournament.
PFB Coverage
Hayden Barber will be at football availability on Tuesday and Wednesday. Carson and I will tape two podcasts. One will be on Monday, and the other will be on Thursday.
We will not send anyone to Ames to cover the game, but we will have coverage of both that and the men’s basketball home opener on Friday from GIA.
