The new school year must be here because the Cowgirls are playing at Neal Patterson Stadium.

Oklahoma State on Sunday night bested ORU 1-0, as the Cowgirls advance to 2-0 on the new season. Their other win came Friday at No. 6 Nebraska.

Sunday’s game was scoreless for much of the night until junior Xcaret Pineda found the back of the net in the 78th minute to break the tie.

The Cowgirls were all over the Golden Eagles for much of the game, as OSU boasted a 34-4 advantage in the shot chart. That included a 15-4 advantage in shots on goal.
