Photos: No. 22 Cowgirls Start Season with 109–48 Win Against New Orleans
What a dominant start to the season.
The Cowgirls started their 2025-26 season with a 61-point W.
No. 22 Oklahoma State beat New Orleans 109-48 on Monday night in Gallagher-Iba Arena to move to 1-0 in what will be a busy start to the season.
OSU shot 55% from the field, shot 43% from 3-point range and outrebounded New Orleans 54-18 (sheesh).
Six Cowgirls finished in double figures.
Micah Gray led the way with 24 points. South Dakota State transfer Haleigh Timmer poured in an efficient 18, going 4-for-8 from 3. Freshman Lena Girardi, daughter of Joe Girardi, scored 15 points in her college debut. Praise Egharevba started her season with a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double.
This starts a busy stretch for the Cowgirls. Take a look at how close together all these games are:
Nov. 3 — New Orleans (W)
Nov. 5 — East Texas A&M
Nov. 6 — Langston
Nov. 9 — Oral Roberts
Nov. 11 — Prairie View A&M
