Photos: True Freshman Kentrevious Jones Shows Off Amazing Body Transformation
Hard work has paid off for an incoming Cowboy,
True freshman big man Kentrevious Jones isn’t quite as big as he once was.
The 19-year-old from Georgia flexed on social media — both literally and figuratively — on Tuesday by showing off an incredible body transformation since he arrived on campus earlier this year.

Jones arrived at OSU at roughly 6-10, 300, but he’s been shedding weight at a regular rate under the direction of strength and conditioning coach Jake Manzelmann. At last check (and on OSU’s online roster) he was at 270, but Jones announced he’s down 52 pounds.
Jones’ transformation is an exciting one to see, and a welcomed development for OSU. With Mitch Solomon and Yankuba Sima both moving on from OSU, Solomon to graduation and Sima to the pros, Jones will likely get his number called early on in his college career as a post player. Because he’s shed nearly one-fifth of my own body weight, he should be more mobile — obviously increasing his chances of playing as a true freshman.
