The Cowboys travel to Ames after a gutsy performance against No. 2 Baylor this past weekend, and as rough as the Pokes’ situation might seem, the Cyclones might have it worse.

Oklahoma State might still be without Cade Cunningham and Rondel Walker on Monday night against Iowa State, but the Cyclones haven’t even played a game since Jan. 9. Iowa State is also 0-5 in Big 12 play this season.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of Monday night’s game.

Picks: OSU -4

Marshall Scott: Cade or no Cade, I think OSU will be able to handle an Iowa State squad that hasn’t played since Jan. 9 and hasn’t won a game since Dec. 20. It looks like the Cyclones will also be shorthanded coming off their long pause, so give me OSU’s group of hustle guys with a cover.

Prediction: Oklahoma State 77, Iowa State 67

Kyle Boone: Loved what I saw from Oklahoma State on Saturday against No. 2 Baylor. That team fought without Cade in the biggest game of the season, but didn’t have the horses late. But I’m afraid this one, potentially again without Cade, could be a letdown spot after an emotional one Saturday. Iowa State’s no good, yet OSU might be hard-pressed to be up for the challenge of a road game on such a quick turnaround. Call me a scrooge, but I’m fading OSU.

Prediction: Iowa State 71, Oklahoma State 69

Kyle Cox: I’ll take the Cowboys to bounce back from the Baylor loss, and the short turnaround is a good thing (as long as Cade can go). Either way, I think the Cowboys get the win. It’s just a question of how close. With the big question mark on No. 2, I’ll say the Cyclones cover.

Prediction: Oklahoma State 72, Iowa State 69
