Oklahoma State heads to Lubbock, Texas on Saturday looking to end a two-game losing skid against a No. 13 Texas Tech team that looks better by the game. The Red Raiders (8-2) have lost their two games by a combined 2 points to two current top-10 teams, setting up OSU — in a spot where it desperately needs momentum — with one of its toughest challenges yet.

Here are our picks for the game.

โ€ข Spread (KenPom): Texas Tech -6

Marshall Scott: Oklahoma State didn’t play well in Lubbock last season. OSU also didn’t play well against Mac McClung when Georgetown was in Stillwater. Those two things have since combined. I think the Cowboys have the talent to keep it close, but give me the Red Raiders.
Pick: Texas Tech 67, OSU 62

Kyle Boone: I’m gonna have to take Texas Tech and lay the points here. Texas Tech’s two losses came to top-10 teams by a combined 2 points, and meanwhile, OSU’s hit something of a wall in Big 12 play it can’t quite summit. I think it’ll be a competitive game because, well Cade, but I’m not so sure it will be a down-to-the-wire finish — nor one OSU fans will like.
Pick: Texas Tech 69, OSU 61

Kyle Cox: I’ll take the Cowboys to cover in a close one, which is saying quite a bit against the nation’s top defense, according to KenPom’s metrics. I think the Pokes end their losing streak early in 2021, but not on Saturday.
Pick: Texas Tech 70, OSU 64
