Pokes No. 13 in Coaches Poll, Mike Gundy Ranks Them No. 9 on Final Ballot
Mike Gundy ranked Oklahoma State in his final top 10 in the Coaches Poll on Sunday. OSU finished at No. 13 overall.
Here is a look at Gundy’s top 25 which included OU at No. 6 and West Virginia as low as anybody ranked them at No. 15 (they finished No. 12).
Gundy was one of just two coaches to rank Oklahoma State that high. Mike Leach (!) was the other one who had them at No. 9. The lowest OSU was ranked was No. 17 by Ron Caragher (San Jose State), Chris Creighton (Eastern Michigan) and Dan Mullen (Mississippi State).
Here is a look at how Oklahoma State moved up and down the Coaches Poll throughout the year.
OU was ranked No. 4 by Gary Patterson and Bob Stoops. They finished No. 7.
