QB Jelani Woods Names OSU in Top Group of Schools

Oklahoma State is making a charge at Ellenwood, Ga., dual-threat quarterback Jelani Woods, after offering just weeks ago.
Woods is a 6-foot-7, 230-pound athlete who has garnered offers from OSU, South Carolina, Michigan, Louisville, USC, Kansas State, and many others.
The Post and Courier posted a quick update on his recruitment this week, and it appears OSU is firmly in the mix at the moment – competing with college footballs blue blood programs.
Woods said he will return to USC for the spring game on April 9 and then visit Oklahoma State the following weekend for that spring game (April 16). The Gamecocks also remain out front for him and he hears from them about every day. Woods said his top group is USC, Oklahoma State and Michigan. He’s also planning to visit Michigan in early June.
Woods will be in town for the spring game where he’ll obviously get a chance to see the facilities firsthand and visit with players and coaches. Perhaps the coaching staff can make a favorable impression during the visit to sway Woods, an athlete with a big upside and unique talents for a quarterback. Check out his highlights here:
