Quion Williams Announces Return for Sophomore Season
Williams is the second Cowboy to announce his return.

What once would’ve been looked at as a given, players announcing their returns provides a lot of clarity in the transfer portal era.
Quion Williams on Thursday night announced, via sources, that he will return to Oklahoma State for his sophomore season. Listed at 6-foot-4 from Jonesboro, Arkansas, Williams played in 34 of OSU’s 36 games as a freshman where he averaged 3.2 points and 1.5 rebounds a contest.
Williams had a strong end to the season. His athleticism shined in the NIT where he averaged eight points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists in OSU’s three games.
He joins senior guard John-Michael Wright as players who have announced their returns for the 2023-24 season. Avery Anderson and Kalib Boone have entered the transfer portal this week.
