Recruiting Recap: See how some future Cowboys performed last week
After a big weekend for the Oklahoma State Cowboys on the field, lets check on the successes of future Cowboys.
QB commit Nick Starkel
Starkel lead Liberty Christian to a convincing 53-8 win over the weekend by completing 26 of 36 passes for a career-high 503 yards and five touchdowns. Starkel will lead the Warriors in their first round of the playoffs at home on Saturday against Nolan Catholic, a team they defeated 20-0 earlier this season.
DE Tramal Ivy
Ivy was also busy on Saturday afternoon where he garnered five tackles, one sack, and a forced fumble for Butler College as they fell for only the second time this season. Butler finished the regular season at an impressive 9-2.
CB Rodarius Williams
Williams helped lead Calvary Academy to their seventh straight victory over the weekend, snatching an interception and playing lock-down defense en route to a 35-12 victory. Calvary Academy is the six seed in the Louisiana State tournament.
RB Justice Hill
Hill led Booker T. Washington to its ninth win of the season as he rushed 10 times for 142 yards and got three touchdowns. Justice added 14 receiving yards as well to achieve a game high 156 all-purpose yards. Booker T. will travel to Sand Springs this weekend looking to continue its perfect season.
RB LaDarren Brown
Brown compiled 46 rushing yards on three rushes and returned a kickoff for 75 yards over the weekend in a 16-14 victory to send Desoto into the playoffs against Coppell on Friday at 7:30 pm.
