It’s been a busy month of May for Oklahoma State’s football staff.

The Cowboys have sent out a handful of offers this month in hopes of bolstering its 2024 class that already ranks 29th nationally with seven commits. Here are quick looks at other players the Cowboys have offered in recent weeks.

Tre Griffiths, 2024, WR

The No. 638 player in the 2024 class, Tre Griffiths caught 32 passes for 865 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior in 2022.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds out of Keller, Texas, Griffiths is also quite the track athlete, coming fourth in the triple jump at the Texas 6A State Championships. He also ran a 22.99-second 200-meter dash this spring and a 52.61 in the 400 meters.

He also holds offers to Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas and others.

Gunnar Wilson, 2024, LB

Oklahoma State became the first Power Five offer for 2024 Melissa, Texas linebacker Gunnar Wilson last week.

Listed at 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, Wilson played all over the field this past season, whether that be at linebacker, tight end or even some snaps at safety. With Wilson mentioning Joe Bob Clements and Bryan Nardo in his offer post, it appears the Cowboys are after Wilson as a linebacker.

He led Melissa to an 11-3 record last season an an appearance in the Texas 5A-D2 state quarterfinals.

He is unranked by the major recruiting services, but entering the summer, he already has offers to North Texas, UTSA, Louisiana Tech, Texas State and others.

Jonathan Agumadu, 2024, LB

Another linebacker from the DFW area, Jonathan Agumadu is listed at a bouldering 6-2, 220 pounds.

He played at Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas as a junior, but it looks as if he’ll spend his senior season at McKinney. As a junior, Agumadu recorded 48 tackles, including 4.5 sacks in nine games, primarily playing as a defensive end. This was his first season as a defender after switching from wide receiver.

He is also unranked but has offers from Missouri, North Texas, UNLV and others.

Temerrick Johnson, 2024, LB

Temerrick Johnson is a long edge rusher from Midlothian Heritage High School (Texas), listed at 6-foot-4, 205 pounds.

Also a basketball player, Johnson helped lead the Jaguars’ football team to an 11-2 record in 2022 and an appearance in the Texas 5A-D2 playoffs. Recruiting sites list Johnson as an edge rusher, but it looks like OSU is after him as a linebacker in Bryan Nardo’s new 3-3-5 scheme, as Johnson mentioned Clements in his offer post.

Johnson also carries offers to Nebraska, Kansas, Houston, Cal, Oregon State and others.

Brett Carroll, 2024, OL

Brett Carroll’s recruitment has started to soar in recent weeks. Entering the month of May without a Power Five offer, Carroll has since garnered offers from Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Kansas State, Illinois and Iowa State.

Carroll is a state champion wrestler at Olathe East High School in Kansas, which gives him bonus points for the Oklahoma State fan base. Listed at 6-foot-5, 285 pounds, Carroll played offense and defense for the Hawks as a junior.

Malik Esquerra, 2024, S

A three-star safety out of Shoemaker High in Killeen, Texas, Malik Esquerra made 68 tackles and nabbed four interceptions as a junior this past season.

Listed at 6-3, 185 pounds, Esquerra is also a hurdler, running a 14.54 in the 110-meter hurdles at regionals this year. He is the No. 62 safety in the 2024 class, according to 247Sports, making him the No. 88 player from the state of Texas.

He also holds offers to Texas Tech, Nebraska and Vanderbilt.

Keiundre Johnson, 2025, TE

Already a highly sought after prospect, Terrell, Texas tight end Keiundre Johnson is going to have his pick of which school he wants to attended when all is set and done.

Listed at 6-4, 215 pounds as a high school sophomore, Johnson already has offers from Texas, Florida State, Texas Tech and others.
