Report: Les Miles Finalizing Deal to Become Head Coach at Kansas
The Mad Hatter is reportedly heading to Lawrence.
Last week, we were reminiscing on Les Miles’ “Let Er Rip” interview heading into Bedlam. Soon, Miles could be ripping turf off Kansas’ Memorial Stadium and shoving it into his mouth.
Kansas is finalizing a deal to make Miles the Jayhawks’ next coach, Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger reported.

Miles coached at Oklahoma State from 2001-04 where he went 26-21, with his best season coming in 2003 where the Cowboys went 9-4. He went on to spend 2005-16 at LSU where he picked up a national championship.
Despite having not coached the past two seasons, Miles has more wins than the Kansas program has had across the past four seasons. Miles 11, Kansas 6.
If Miles does end up a Jayhawk, he and KU will visit Stillwater next season.
